Marjorie Nelson participated in Wednesday, October 26th's silent candlelight vigil held on the steps of the Athens County Court House in Athens, Ohio. The vigil honored the 2,000 Americans who have died in Iraq so far, and at the 30,000 Iraqi deaths. Nelson, who was a nurse during the Vietnam conflict, said America needs to realize that we live in a "Global Village," and thus should collaborate with other nations instead of policing the world.
